VERB "TO BE" PRESENT

LET'S HAVE A LOOK AT THE VERB BE...

The verb “to be” is the most commonly used verb in the English language. Learn it because you'll be using it a lot!!!!

1) Use BE to give and ask for information.

I'm Claudia. What's your name?

2) Use BE with ages.

My sister is 15 years old. How old are you?

3)Use BE and a / an with jobs.

I'm an English teacher and you're a student.

4) Use BE to describe the weather.

It's cold.

5) Use BE to talk about time and place.

It's six o'clock.

We're in Argentina.
